MaQui ( pronounced mah-kee) began a singing
career early on but only pursued it in full force once she graduated
with a Bachelor’s degree in Music and Multimedia Production. Her musical
influences include Arias, Mythology, Music Technology, years dancing
Flamenco, time spent traveling in Southeast Asia and surfing along the
Pacific coast. Using turntables as an instrument she fuses vocal agility with her passion for music production. Singing while mixing original music with exclusive new tracks is a
live production trip for the audience and a tribute to the sirens of La Manzanilla that delivered her from a rip tide as an infant and endowed her with a voice.
