IDM as a "minor" literature

Dancecult is among those rare gems of ingenious human social development lacking the attention rightly deserved. I consider them to be the true ambassadors of the EDMC (Electronic Dance Music Culture). Electronic music is among the most difficult forms of music to identify let alone the culture that intertwines. Taking on this remarkable feat they begin with one of the most drastically changing forms: "IDM" aka "Braindance."


As described by Graham St John, the Dancecult Executive Editor, "Ramzy Alwakeel undertakes an investigation of Warp Records, Autechre and Aphex Twin by way of Deleuze and Guattari to conclude that IDM (Intelligent Dance Music) be read as a 'minor' literature."
