NAMM 2011 - KDJ-ONE by CyberStep

A prototype. My camera made the screen darker.

This hand-held gem was one of the funnest mobile devices to play with at NAMM. Made by CyberStep, KDJ-ONE is a mobile DAW (digital audio workstation). But, it doesn't stop there. You can hook it up to your master DAW or DJ software on your computer and run it as a VST plug-in. All the buttons allow you to navigate the device but that screen can also be touched to activate all types of parameters! AND, this whole thing can be used as a MIDI controller for anything else!! "What about the sounds?"  you may be asking.  They are made by the professional duo Davide Carbone and Josh Abrahams of s:amplify.
