Electro-soul veteran Astro Raph has served up his new "Eternal Spirit" EP, featuring remixes from Gravitas Recordings alumni Soulular and Wolf-e-Wolf. This latest album has a stronger focus on an electronic palette than his previous releases, but Astro keeps the quality high and pulls it off perfectly. Synthetic melody is merged with organic instrumentation across seven tracks, culminating in a cohesive exploration of current bass music stylings. Wolf-e-Wolf gives "Inside Your Arms" a healthy dose of smooth bass and big drums, ripening the original for physical grooving. Taking a different route, southern California's Soulular gets slow and drippy with his psychedelic remix.
