The 2014 8static Festival takes place Oct. 16-18 at the First Unitarian Church, 2125 Chestnut St., Philadelphia, starting at 6 p.m. each night. The show is all ages. We're excited to host our second annual three-day lo-fi electronic music and video festival, which features some of the world's finest chiptune artists!Our inaugural festival in 2013 was an absolute blast and a huge success. The event was funded by a Kickstarter campaign that raised more than $11,000, and it even received a nomination for ''Event of the Year'' at the 2014 Philly Geek Awards.
