Documentary: The Rise And Fall of Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum

Le Sheng Liu is currently working on a documentary regarding the rise and fall of the Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. EDC is one of LA's longest-running annual massives. The themes she will be addressing in this story include a critical analysis of media coverage on raves, the controversy over harm reduction measures as a response to drug-related risks, the apparent re-surge of MDMA use in America in the last 5 years, the economy of LA County and its dependence on large festivals for a revenue, and the attraction of EDM events in LA to fans across the country.
