Roy Burns (left) Matt Johnson (right)
Matt Johnson is one of Southern California's most versatile professional drummers best known for his jazz styling and is a key figure in the inspiration of many next generation drummers as an educator since 1993. He also has played in countless classy acts and is currently a driving force for Atomic Age, retro-lounge ensembles, The Jet Set Quintet, Nutty, and The Tony Guerrero Quartet

Roy Burns partnered with Ron Marquez in 1980 to form Aquarian Drumheads. He is also a drummer and educator himself and pioneered the concept of drum clinics. Roy was famous as a big band drummer in his early twenties performing with the legendary Benny Goodman, Lionel Hampton, and Woody Herman. In the sixties he concentrated on studio work and freelancing in the New York area. He played a number of top TV shows such as the Merv Griffin Show and the Tonight Show as well as TV and radio commercials. Roy also led his own jazz group and performed regularly at clubs such as The Metrepole and Birdland in New York.

And, can you guess who this is? Peter Vincent himself at the NAMM show! Perhaps you've seen him before?
