Many groups are gaining more popularity on facebook and it's a great way to connect with your local scene. I'm part of a "Orange County Electronic Music Scene" and it's a great way to meet other local artists and DJs. If you are just beginning to get your foot in the door, join one of these groups, go to the local events, and start meeting others in your area. Try searching for your city when you're logged into Facebook and there may already be an electronic music group for your location. If you don't see one, why not create one?
