Horse The Band to be playing in LA next month (Nintendocore, metalcore, post-hardcore)

Horse the Band, the originators of Nintendocore, (who also cross with a metalcore and post-hardcore extravaganza) features Erik Engstrom on the Korg MS2000 giving their motion that electric bite. They will be playing live at the 5 Star Bar in Los Angeles on a Sunday with Drinks, Residual Echoes, and Tired.

Nintendocore may also be called Nintendo rock, video rock, or nerdcore and is a derivative of hardcore punk, post-hardcore, metalcore, and heavy metal. It is very similar to electronicore or synthcore which I believe adds auto-tune. Some will attempt to call it 8bitcore... 8bitcore is actually another branch of a community similar to the work of Overclocked Remix except in reverse (taking primarily acoustically produced music and making it digital/8bit).
