"Mojo's been mixing for various events in L.A. since 1992, most notably F.A.M.I.L.Y and Insomniac. Currently producing under the name Mojo Rising, he has releases on several labels, including L.A.'s downtempo imprint Cold Busted.
With this mix, the goal was to provide a broad overview of electronic music over the past few decades, while also giving a nod to some classic West Coast tracks. Starting with some early electronic pioneers, the mix progresses through old school techno, breaks and house before settling down to some chilled trip-hop and a touch of hip hop. The majority of the mix is mixed with vinyl on two 1200s and a Vestax mixer."
